Cynthia P. Villagómez Oviedo

Cynthia Patricia Villagomez Oviedo has a PhD in Visual and Intermedia Arts (Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain). Winner of the “Premio Extraordinario de Tesis Doctorales” for her research on Mexican Digital Art. Author of nine books, several book chapters and articles on artistic production processes and design. She made research stays in Spain. She has given talks at events such as ISEA2017, in Manizales, Colombia; in Durban, South Africa, Gwangju, South Korea, Barcelona, Spain, among others. She is a Research Professor at the University of Guanajuato, Mexico. She is a member of the National System of Researchers level II and member of The Society of Phenomenology and Media.
