José Jaime Paulín Larracoechea


José Jaime Paulín Larracoechea holds a PhD in Multidisciplinary Studies on Work (specialization in Territory) from the Autonomous University of Querétaro (Mexico). He earned a master’s degree in Environmental Psychology from Universidad Surcolombiana (Colombia) and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the same Mexican institution. He is a full-time research professor in the Faculty of Psychology and Education at the Autonomous University of Querétaro, where he also serves as editor of the journal Psicología, Educación & Sociedad (Psychology, Education & Society).

He is a candidate member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers (SNII) under the Ministry of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation, and holds a PRODEP profile from the Ministry of Public Education. He is a member of the Ibero-American Network of Researchers in the History of Psychology. At Universidad Surcolombiana, he belongs to the Sintropía Research Group, and at UAQ he is affiliated with the Labor Center and the Center for Research in Educational Technology.

His main research interests focus on work–environment relations and environmental education linked to new educational technologies. Among his recent academic contributions are the book chapters “Social Sciences and the Environment” (2025) and “Educational Diagnosis of Environmental Impact in the State of Querétaro” (2024).
