Lilibeth Portillo Rumbo
Holds a PhD in Administrative Sciences from the Autonomous University of Tlax¬cala. She also holds a Master’s degree in Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting. Additionally, she has completed the following diploma pro¬grams: Government Accounting (by the Superior Fiscal Body of the State of Tlaxcala – OFS), Financial Discipline (OFS), Financial Education (by the Natio¬nal Commission for the Protection and Defense of Financial Services Users – CONDUSEF), Taxation (Mexican Fiscal Institute), Finance, and Managerial Skills (both from the Latin American Graduate Studies Institute).
With a 20-year professional career, she has worked in the public, private, and independent sectors. Since 2017, she has served as a full-time professor at the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences (FCEA) at UAT, while also pro¬viding independent professional services. She acts as the university’s tax ombuds¬man before the Tax Administration Service and the Office for the Defense of Taxpayers. She currently holds the position of Coordinator of the Division of Social and Administrative Sciences at the Autonomous University of Tlaxcala.
She is a certified academic in Public Accounting by the National Association of Schools and Faculties of Accounting and Administration (ANFECA) and holds a Desirable Profile under the Program for the Professional Development of Pro¬fessors (PRODEP).
Dr. Portillo has been awarded first place for her doctoral thesis by ANFECA and second place for her master’s-level research work.
